Following the recent outbreak news of the 2 Weeks ASUU Warning Strike which started on the 9th of March, 2020; a lot of FUTA Students are still curious to know if - FUTA JOIN the ASUU WARNING Strike or NOT.
The ASUU FUTA Congress meeting had been re-fixed for Wednesday, 11th of March 2020 at exactly 10AM.
Latest FUTA ASUU Strike Updates
The congress meeting which was slated to hold today on the 10th of March, 2020 to determine whether FUTA will suspend their academic activities and join the ASUU Strike OR to continue their academic activities was later postphoned.The ASUU FUTA Congress meeting had been re-fixed for Wednesday, 11th of March 2020 at exactly 10AM.
Are Lectures Still On-going?
According to FutaNewsandGist sources; some lectures held today while some did not hold. However If you are a FUTA Undergraduate Student; you can try to confirm if your lectures will hold or not from your class representative.

Will FUTA Join the ASUU Strike or NOT?
One of the most common question that has been popping in students' mind is if it is possible for the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) to join the Strike or not. Based on the probability we calculated; there is a VERY high tendency that FUTA also will join the ASUU Warning Strike.
However it is also possible for FUTA to Shun the ASUU Strike (just as they have done before here).
